The C Group is proud to be supported by Commando Challenge
2010 is the 20th anniversary of the Commando Challenge Team Charity Event, which regularly attracts participants from all corners of the UK, Europe and occasionally the USA and Australia and which has given over £500,000 to its nominated charities over the last two years. This year the organisers are extremely pleased to announce the beginning of a minimum five year relationship with The C Group and the Devon Air Ambulance, during which time the Challenge should realise in the region of £1.25m to these charities.
The world famous Endurance Course on Woodbury Common near Exeter is used by the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines to train new recruits. Once a year in October the Royal Marines uniquely allow members of the public to find out at first hand just what it takes to tackle obstacles such as "Peter' Pool", "The Sheep Dip" and "The Crocodile Pit" - whilst at the same time raising money for charity.
