Success for Laird plc in Charity Triathlon
Laird plc's "Fittest of Finance" complete JP Morgan's Mini Triathlon
Graeme Watt, Laird plcs's ex - RN Director of Risk Management and Internal Audit, together with colleagues Jonathan Silver, also ex RN, and Ranjit Saggu, recently participated in JP Morgan's Mini Triathlon in support of The C Group. Held on 11 June at Dorney Lake, Eaton (an Olympic venue and the closest the team could get after failing in the ticket draw!) the event consisted of a 400 m open water swim, a 20 km cycle race and a 5km run.
The team completed the triathlon in fine style with an average team time of 1 hr 30 mins and 7 seconds - 1 min 30 secs faster than last year, their first ever year.
All at The C Group are deeply grateful to the team for their efforts and for the money raised.
